Rainbow Tree Friends 2012

A digital remake of a Rainbow Tree Friends drawing I made back in December 10, 2010. This digital remake took me two days to complete, as I mean this was one complicated Happy Tree Friends group picture in separate boxes. I did most of the work on GIMP, but the outlines were made with Paint. So that you know this is a remake, here's the original image [link]

Flaky is the HTF representative of the color red. This color has the longest wavelength in the entire spectrum between 630-740 nm. A longer wavelength is known as infrared and it cannot be seen from the naked eye. Red symbolizes energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination, passion, desire, love, and anger. Real life examples include stop signs, blood, apples, strawberries, cherries, and roses. Similar colors include Amaranth, Auburn, Cardinal, Carmine, Cinnabar, Crimson, Folly, Lust, Maroon, Magenta, Rose, Ruby, Rust, Scarlet, Terra Cotta, and Vermillion.

Handy is the HTF representative of the color orange. This is the first time I drew handy with his trademark appearance (which includes the helmet and the lack of arms). This color is a mix of red and yellow. This color is named after the appearance of the ripe orange fruit. Orange symbolizes enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. Real life examples include oranges, pumpkins, carrots, and basketballs. Similar colors include Brown, Burnt Orange, Coral, Orange Peel, Tangelo, Tangerine, and Tenné.

Cuddles is the HTF representative of the color Yellow. Yellow symbolizes joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. There is a fear of this color known as Xanthophobia. Real life examples include yellow pages, daffodils, school buses, taxi cabs, and the sun. Similar colors include Amber, Buff, Gold, Goldenrod, Jasmine, Jonquil, Maize, Saffron, and Sunglow.

Flippy is a HTF representative of the color green. In the original 2010 drawing, Nutty represented green. Green symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Many animals and most plants are vital examples of this color. Green is also the trendy color for St. Patrick's Day. Similar colors include Asparagus, Cal Poly Pomona, Chartreuse, Fern, Harlequin, Lime, Mantis, Mint, Pistachio, Shamrock, and Teal.

Petunia is the HTF representative of the color blue. Blue has had a wide history of its uses by nature, artwork, and even fashion. Real life examples include the clear sky and deep sea. Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. In America's Best Dance Crew Season 5, both of the banners of the two finalists, Poreotics and Blueprint Cru, are blue, the former were crowned champions. Similar colors include Azure, Bleu de France, Cerulean, Cobalt, Cornflower, Glaucous, Indigo, Iris, Sapphire, Ultramarine, and Zaffre.

Toothy is the HTF representative of the color purple. Purple is actually a well-known variation of violet. Purple symbolizes royalty, power, nobility, luxury, ambition, wealth, extravagance, wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic. Purple is mostly artificial and is a very rare color in nature. Similar colors include Amethyst, Byzantium, Eggplant, Fandango, Fuchsia, Heliotrope, Lavender, Mardi Gras, Orchid, Phlox, Plum, Purple Pizzazz, and Wisteria.

And there you have it, that's the rainbow of the HTF world.
